INT. CATHEDRAL
A mysterious gothic cathedral. On the altar is a floating suit of red armor. An eerie light shimmers through the stained glass. Very fast techno music is playing.
A shadowy figure enters through the doors in the rear of the room.
The figure approaches the armor.
In the glimmering light reflecting off the suit, we see SCORPIO, 28, military build, face haggard and scarred, dressed in white battle fatigues and holding a double-barreled shotgun.
Upon touching the armor a flash of light instantly dresses Scorpio in the armor, making him all the more intimidating.
Scorpio turns back and heads back to...
INT. TUNNEL
A long and dim tunnel stretches down away from the cathedral doors. There is no sunlight, only blinking fluorescent tubes wet with condensation. Scorpio begins running toward the other end.
Suddenly, another figure appears, BONES. Bones looks exactly like Scorpio except his pants are colored a deep red and his chest-plate armor is yellow.
Three rockets quickly leave Bones en route to Scorpio.
Scorpio quickly sidesteps to dodge the first, then jumps to dodge the second, but catches the third square in the chest.
Scorpio is thrown back against the wall, bloody but not broken. He makes a quick dive into an adjoining room
INT. ADJOINING ROOM
A similarly gothic-styled room with a glowing blue pool of water and a run in the shape of a stylized 'Q' hovering above.
Scorpio quickly jumps across the pool. As soon as he touches the rune another flash of light appears and he is now glowing himself.
Scorpio goes back to the doorway and waits.
Bones barrels in, sees the pool and turns to his left.
CLOSE UP - SHOTGUN BARRELS FIRING
LOW ANGLE
We see blood and gore splash across the wall.
SFX: bloody gurgle of a headless Bones dying.
CLOSE UP - BLOODY ROCKET LAUNCHER
The rocket launcher is a pale grayish green in color and looks rather phallic. We see Scorpio's hands pick it up.
INT. TUNNEL
Scorpio exits the room, now wielding a rocket launcher and still glowing. He continues down the hall until he reaches...
INT. ANTECHAMBER
The antechamber has high vaulted ceilings and a square floorplan. In the center of the room is a slight mound with a box marked "HEALTH". There are two doorways on opposite walls as well as a higher level looking down on the entire room.
SCORPIO'S POV - FROM THE HIGHER LEVEL
Looking down the barrel of Scorpio's rocket launcher, we see three other combatants who look exactly like Scorpio save different color pants and chest-plates. They all scurry about with axes, trying to hit one another without getting chopped themselves.
Scorpio's rocket launcher steadies, aims at the center mound in which all three warriors are circling, and fires off a round.
ROCKET'S POV
All three men see the rocket come their way and let out screams.
OVER SCORPIO'S SHOULDER
A huge splash of red interspersed with chunks of flesh and bone explode up from the center of the room, ricocheting off the walls and splashing down on the ground.
LOW ANGLE
We see Scorpio from the point where the rocket hit. He lifts his arms in the air and let's out a battle cry.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning pierces Scorpio's chest and he himself blows up, exposing REDWOOD, a man with identical height and build but wearing a suit and tie instead of armor.
"FUCK!"Redwood silently runs off.
ZOOM OUT - COMPUTER SCREEN
A bloody spot where Scorpio's body used to stand is centered on the screen with large flashing words saying "REDWOOD FRAGGED YOU WITH HIS SHAFT!"
INT. DORM ROOM
Bunk-beds, movie posters, a stereo, a digital alarm clock on a nightstand reading "3:18am" in large red LED numbers, a desk with a rather large computer monitor displaying the ultra-violent video game, and BRIAN, 18, tall with brown hair down to the middle of his back, in a black t-shirt and gray cargo pants, sitting in a chair, slamming his fingers on the keyboard.
A knock on the door.
"Come In."enter ANDREW: 18, tall, blonde hair and goatee, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
"Wanna go to Denny's?""well... I have class tomorrow at 2.""I have a test tomorrow, and I'm going.""Who else is going?""Me, Ted, Bob, and Jessie.""Jessie's going?""Oh Yeah.""ok, give me a minute."Andrew leaves, closing the door behind him.
Brian hits the escape key on his keyboard and exits his game, then quickly checks his email and grabs his jacket.
Brian gets up and turns off his stereo. The very fast techno music stops.
Brian checks his wallet and puts on his jacket.
Brian turns the light off and closes the door.
SFX: door locking.
FADE OUT.
